Jennifer Rowe

Level 1 Massage Therapist

I have been practicing in the field of massage since 1999. I graduated from Ashmead College in Fife, WA. I previously worked with Chiropractors and a Sports Physician, which helped my knowledge, growth, and interest in injury and rehab treatment massage early on. More importantly, I have gained invaluable experience working with fellow Massage Therapists.

My massage provides a combination of relaxation as well as gentle, specific stretches with direct, focused strokes to release areas of tension and dysfunction. I have a deep fulfillment in participating in the significant change that happens with massage for people with anxiety, PTSD, TBIs, feeling overstimulated, and everyday stress. I believe bodywork is a perfect tool for educating my clients that massage is essential for excellent health and rehabilitation, along with integrating with other therapies. I am passionate about educating people and empowering them to control their health and well-being!

I practice a combination of modalities with massage, including Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Intraoral massage, Mana-Lomi, GuaSha, Cupping, Neuromuscular Re-education, and Craniosacral Therapy. I hold an endorsement with Washington State for Intraoral Massage that has broadened my scope of practice in working with many jaw dysfunctions, dental trauma, and migraines/headaches. I enjoy working with babies, which led to taking a craniosacral pediatric course in June 2018, which helps with a wide range of issues such as birth trauma, latching/sucking trouble, colic/reflux/gastrointestinal pain, and constipation, to name a few.

I am also a full-time student at the University of Washington Seattle campus, working towards obtaining Integrated Social Sciences and Public Health degrees!

I have been advocating/volunteering for veterans to receive massage and craniosacral therapy with the VA! Moreover, I work with veterans and first responders as a board member and massage therapist for The Association of Integrated Healing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Olympia, Wa.

My family is essential to me! My husband, daughter, son, and I spend our weekends at my son's baseball games, working on a project around the house, or enjoying a hike around the PNW!
